The Virginia
house is a symmetrical plan and elevation, evoking the local vernacular.
The rear of the house is an extensive wall of glass windows and doors
opening toward the mountain view. Second story decks are on the front
and rear of house. From the recessed entry one enters an expansive
two story stair hall and proceeds to a room projecting from the house
with three sides of windows and doors to lateral decks.
