Leroux Residence

The existing house was renovated and became the living space. Three new buildings became the office and studio space and were organized around an outdoor courtyard. From the front an adobe wall further contains the overall spaces and a central hub within the walls interacts with the environment and structures, and further joins the living and working spaces. The exterior spaces, or rooms, by way of the hub, are an integral part of the house.

The interior consists of natural plaster, Douglas fir, and Arizona flagstone. Much of the furniture is of the same material and similar design, unifying the interior. The existing house contains additional materials and a play of colors.
